Jackson rules out Chelsea return, eyes Bayern future

Bayern Munich striker, Nicolas Jackson, has ruled out the possibility of returning to Chelsea once his loan spell in Germany ends.

The Senegalese forward secured a season-long move to the Bundesliga giants on transfer deadline day, despite late efforts by Chelsea to recall him following Liam Delap’s injury.

His switch to Munich was not without drama, with tensions reported between the Blues’ hierarchy and Jackson’s representatives.

Speaking to Canal+ Sport, the player’s agent, Diomansy Kamara, made it clear that Chelsea is no longer in Jackson’s plans.

“At Chelsea today, the relationship with Enzo Maresca isn’t the best. What we saw was more of a power struggle between the two clubs. Even Bayern’s Hoeness had to soften some of his words. There was always talk about how many matches Nico would need to trigger an obligatory option,” Kamara revealed.

“But Nico isn’t focused on reaching 40 matches. If he hits 15 goals by December, no one will question his value. He doesn’t picture himself going back to Chelsea. The goal is to perform well this season, and afterwards we’ll see what works best — but Bayern is the clear priority for his future.”
