Kanye West’s ex-assistant in hiding after sexual assault lawsuit – Lawyer

Lauren Pisciotta, a former assistant to Kanye West, is currently in hiding and “afraid” for her safety following her sexual assault lawsuit against the rapper, her lawyer has revealed to the BBC.

Pisciotta, 36, who began working for West in 2021, initially filed legal action in June 2024, alleging sexual harassment and stalking.

Her legal team has since expanded the case, with new accusations filed in 2025 including sex trafficking, stalking, assault, and rape.

West, legally known as Ye, has strongly denied the claims, which his team has labelled as “fantasy fiction.”

The civil case is expected to return to a U.S. court next month. But according to Pisciotta’s attorney, Arick Fudali, his client has drastically reduced her public profile and now lives in fear.

Speaking to the BBC, Fudali said Pisciotta has wiped much of her online presence and is “just sort of sitting around and hiding, letting this lawsuit play out.”

He added, “It’s really sad, she’s gone through a lot. She is suffering and has been suffering since she began working for Mr West.”

The initial lawsuit, filed on June 3, 2024, accused West of sexual harassment, breach of contract, and wrongful termination.

But in an amended filing on July 10, 2025, Pisciotta added new claims, including that she was the target of a “swatting” incident allegedly orchestrated by West just days after the original complaint.

Swatting involves making false emergency calls to prompt armed police responses at a specific location. Pisciotta alleges she endured a series of threatening visits from law enforcement, including an armed raid by the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office based on a fake report that she had murdered her own mother.

She also says she received anonymous phone calls around that time warning her to drop the lawsuit and telling her she would not “prevail” against West.

Pisciotta’s amended filing further accuses the rapper of repeated sexual assaults and harassment during her time working on his DONDA album.

In one disturbing allegation, she claims West entered her hotel room, used her shower, and later exited with his towel removed, exposing himself before allegedly forcing her into oral sex.

She also alleges that West regularly engaged in sexual acts with Yeezy staff at the office, recorded these encounters, and shared them with her.

Additionally, she says he often sent her sexually explicit text messages and described fantasies involving her.

The lawsuit also alleges a toxic and discriminatory workplace culture under West’s leadership.

“Ye constantly used derogatory, antisemitic slurs, and interrogated employees he suspected were Jewish. On multiple occasions, Ye demanded that his assistants and other employees draw swastikas in the workplace,” the lawsuit says.

Fudali spoke about the case on the BBC’s Fame Under Fire podcast, hosted by Anoushka Mutanda-Dougherty. He pointed to several of West’s public statements and music lyrics as potential evidence.

“He [West] has a song called Heil Hitler. He calls himself a walking ‘Me Too’. He admits to sexually harassing his employees. You see all that he’s done publicly, you can imagine what he has done in private,” Fudali said.

While none of West’s social media activity amounts to a legal admission of guilt, Fudali noted that these posts would be presented during his deposition and in court.

The BBC reached out to West’s team for comment but received no response. However, in a previous statement to USA Today, a spokesperson for West dismissed the lawsuit outright.

“Lauren Pisciotta’s amended complaint is the fourth version she has advanced. Each new revision contradicts the others,” the spokesperson said, calling the latest complaint a “breathless new instalment of fantasy fiction [that] discredits all past, present and future testimony.”

“We stand ready to annihilate Ms Pisciotta’s tall tales before a jury − an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming,” the statement stated..
