Gundogan dismisses Man City exit rumours

Manchester City midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan, has dismissed media rumours claiming he’s on his way out of the Etihad Stadium.

Recent reports had alleged that the 34-year-old was no longer in Pep Guardiola’s plans, as the Spanish manager looks to refresh his aging squad with younger talent.

One such report by Beinsports.tr claimed Gundogan had already reached an agreement to join Turkish giants Galatasaray, reportedly with a salary package worth up to €6 million annually.

But the player’s agent and uncle, Ilhan Gundogan, has refuted those claims, insisting there’s no truth to them.

Speaking to reporters, Ilhan stated, “At the moment, there is no agreement with any club in Turkey or any official talks going on. I find it difficult to understand why such news is coming out.”

This clarification suggests that the midfielder remains committed to City, at least for the time being, as speculation about his future continues to swirl.
