Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubairu, has unveiled a 20-man squad for the upcoming WAFU B U-20 Cup of Nations.

The roster features a blend of familiar faces and fresh talents. Team captain Daniel Bameyi, along with dependable names like goalkeeper Ebenezer Harcourt, Bidemi Amole, and Divine Oliseh, retained their spots in the squad.

Several new prospects have also been given the nod by Zubairu, including Clinton Andy of Bayelsa United, defenders Abba Sadiq and Marvelous Freedom, midfield dynamo Abduljelil Kamaldeen, and attacking duo Imrana Muhammad and Qudus Olayiwola.

Nigeria has been placed in Group A of the tournament, alongside host nation Ghana and neighbours Benin Republic.

The Flying Eagles will kick off their campaign against their traditional rivals, the Black Satellites of Ghana, in the tournament opener on Thursday, July 10, at the Prampram Centre in Accra.

They will then square off against Benin Republic on Sunday, July 13, in what is a three-team group.
