Jurors have found Sean “Diddy” Combs guilty on prostitution-related charges but acquitted the music mogul of the more serious allegations of racketeering and sex trafficking.

Combs now faces the possibility of up to 10 years in prison after being convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, charges tied to incidents involving his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura and another woman who testified under the pseudonym “Jane.”

Earlier in the week, the jurors had informed the judge that they were only able to reach a unanimous decision on four out of the five charges brought against Combs, but could not agree on the racketeering count. They were dismissed on Monday and reconvened this morning, swiftly arriving at a verdict.

Federal prosecutors had accused Combs of forcing or coercing multiple women — including Ventura, whose full name is Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, and “Jane” — to participate in carefully orchestrated sexual encounters with male escorts, events referred to in court as “freak offs” or “hotel nights.”

The case was initiated by the Southern District of New York in September 2024, with prosecutors alleging that Combs used his extensive business connections to facilitate a broad range of criminal conduct as part of an organized racketeering enterprise.

The trial, which commenced in May, featured 34 prosecution witnesses over the course of 29 days of testimony, painting a detailed picture of the alleged misconduct.
