Leaders of the Nigeria Labour Coalition and the Trade Union Congress are currently engaged in a crucial meeting with representatives of the Federal Government at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation. The discussions are focused on the recent hike in fuel prices.
The Federal Government’s team is led by Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris. On the other side, the Organised Labour team is headed by Joe Ajaero, President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, and Nuhu Toro, Secretary General of the Trade Union Congress.
Other key government officials present at the meeting include the Minister of State for Labour, Nkeiruka Onyejeocha; Minister of Finance, Wale Edun; and Minister of Budget and National Planning, Atiku Bagudu.
