Nigerian skit maker and content creator, Chinonso Ukah, widely known by her stage name Nons Miraj, has opened up about why she decided to move away from her popular “witch” themed skits.
In a candid conversation with fellow content creator, Egungun of Lagos, Nons Miraj revealed that her decision was influenced by both financial and personal reasons.
According to her, the skits weren’t yielding the kind of income she expected, and the elaborate costume she wore often made people assume she was much older than she really is.
“I stopped creating witch content because it wasn’t giving me enough money, and people were thinking I was old,” Nons Miraj explained.
