The Super Falcons of Nigeria have landed in Lisbon as preparations intensify for a pre-2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations warm-up clash against Portugal.
A group comprising 10 players and members of the technical crew touched down in the Portuguese capital on Sunday night for the high-profile friendly.
Among the early arrivals is former Atletico Madrid striker, Omorinsola Babajide, who joined the team shortly after they settled in Lisbon.
The squad is expected to be bolstered by the arrival of 13 additional players ahead of the match.
Tonight’s friendly encounter will take place at the Estádio José Gomes, located in the Amadora area of Lisbon.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7pm Nigeria time — the same local time in Portugal.
The Falcons will remain in Portugal to take on West African rivals Ghana in another tune-up fixture on Friday.
