Nigeria women’s U-20 football team, Falconets, have arrived in Lilongwe, Malawi, ahead of Saturday’s second-leg clash against Malawi in the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
Coach Moses Aduku’s side take a commanding advantage into the return fixture after securing a 2-0 win over the Young Scorchers in the first leg at the Remo Stars Stadium last weekend.
The reverse fixture will be played at the Bingu National Stadium, where the Falconets will look to confirm their place in the next round of the qualification race.
Nigeria have been impressive on the road in the campaign, winning all their away matches so far.
They edged Rwanda 1-0 in the opening round before defeating Senegal 2-1 in the following stage.
The winner on aggregate will qualify for the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup finals in Poland this September.
