Nigeria’s Flying Eagles are set to learn their group stage opponents for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup on Thursday, as the official draw takes place in Santiago, the capital of Chile.
The global youth tournament will feature 24 national teams, divided into six groups of four.
This year’s edition runs from September 27 to October 19 in Chile.
The Flying Eagles secured their place at the competition by finishing third at the 2025 Africa U-20 Cup earlier this month.
Aliyu Zubairu’s team will enter the draw from Pot 1, alongside other top-seeded nations: New Zealand, France, Ukraine, Argentina, and Mexico.
