Social media was left buzzing on Sunday after a video showing Nigeria’s Under-17 female team, Flamingos, and their German counterpart dancing to Kizz Daniel’s hit song, “Cough”.
Earlier in the day, the Flamingos had pimped the German team to win the third-place medal at the 2020 Women’s Under-17 World Cup in India.
The Nigerian team surrendered their three-goal lead in the last 30 minutes of the game which saw the game go into a penalty shootout.
However, the Flamingos defeated the Germans 3-2 to clinch the African country’s first-ever bronze medal in the women’s age-grade competition.
After the game, the girl caught up for a little party as both teams exchanged jerseys while they danced to Kizz Daniel’s latest hit song, “Cough”.
