World Cup winner, Lionel Messi has reportedly decided to join Inter Miami, with Barcelona missing out on a homecoming deal for the Argentinian.

According to the British Broadcasting Corporation, the 35-year-old free agent chose United States of America as his destination over a return to Barcelona.

It would be recalled that Barcelona President, Joan Laporta, had said the club will do everything in their power to re-sign Lionel Messi from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The latest decision has also seen Messi reject a move to Saudi Arabia side who offered him £1billion deal per year.

Inter Milan is owned by Jorge Mas, while former England International, David Beckham is a co-owner.
