President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday departed Abuja for Europe to commence his 2025 annual leave, according to the Presidency.

The Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, said the working vacation will last for 10 working days.

“President Tinubu will be spending the period between France and the United Kingdom before returning to the country,” Onanuga confirmed in a statement released on Thursday, September 4.

The trip is part of the President’s annual leave schedule, which officials say will also provide an opportunity for engagements while abroad.

“Mr. President is taking time out for rest, but it is also a working vacation,” Onanuga added.

Tinubu is expected back in Nigeria immediately after the conclusion of his leave.
