AS Roma and Turkish side Besiktas have reportedly reached an agreement over the transfer of English striker Tammy Abraham, with the deal valued at €20 million.

Renowned transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, revealed the development in a post shared on X.

Romano stated, “Besiktas reach verbal agreement to sign Tammy Abraham on permanent deal from AS Roma.

“Transfer fee around €20m. Abraham has accepted the destination. Time for paperwork between clubs. Tammy, set to fly to Turkey.”

The move comes as Roma face pressure to balance their books, needing to raise €13 million before June 30 to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.

Abraham is said to have given the green light for the switch to the Turkish Super Lig giants.

The 27-year-old frontman spent the previous season on loan at AC Milan, having slipped down the pecking order at Roma.

During his time with the Rossoneri, he netted 10 goals and recorded seven assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

Despite his contributions, AC Milan, who struggled throughout the campaign chose not to activate an option to buy.

Roma initially signed Abraham from Chelsea in 2021 for a fee of €41 million.
