Suspended Senator representing Kogi Central, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, appeared at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday, June 30, 2025, for her second arraignment over alleged defamation of Senate President Godswill Akpabio and former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello.

According to The PUNCH, she arrived at the court in company of her husband, Emmanuel Uduaghan, prominent human rights activist Aisha Yesufu, and a group of supporters.

The matter is slated to be heard before Justice Mohammed Umar.

Akpoti-Uduaghan was previously arraigned on similar charges on June 19, 2025, at the Federal Capital Territory High Court.

During the last hearing, the court refused the Federal Government’s application for a bench warrant following her absence in court.
