Super Falcons striker Babajide ends two-year spell at Spanish side UD Tenerife

Super Falcons forward, Rinsola Babajide, has officially parted ways with Spanish Liga F side UD Tenerife.

The 26-year-old attacker joined Tenerife in 2023 after a stint with another Spanish club, Real Betis.

Over her two-year spell, Babajide netted 13 goals and contributed 12 assists, showcasing her attacking prowess.

During her time at the club, the former Liverpool star earned a call-up to the Nigerian women’s national team, the Super Falcons. She has since made five appearances for the nine-time African champions.

Meanwhile, her Super Falcons teammate, Monday Gift, also recently exited UD Tenerife to join American side Washington Spirit.
