Super Eagles’ Ndidi joins Beşiktaş from Leicester

Beşiktaş have confirmed the capture of Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi on a permanent deal.

The Nigerian international joins the Turkish Süper Lig heavyweights from English Championship side Leicester City, signing a three-year contract with an option to extend for a further season.

A Fresh Chapter Begins
Speaking to the club’s official media, Ndidi shared his excitement about the move.

“It’s an amazing feeling. Joining Beşiktaş is truly special,” he said. “The welcome has been so warm. Before I even wore the shirt, I kissed the badge, that’s important to me, it shows my love and commitment.”

Ndidi arrives in Istanbul after an illustrious eight-year spell at Leicester City, where he made more than 240 appearances and played a key role in the Foxes’ historic 2021 FA Cup triumph.
