Super Eagles’ Chukwueze to join Fulham from Milan

Super Eagles and AC Milan winger, Samuel Chukwueze, is set to undergo medicals in London ahead of a move to Premier League side Fulham.

The transfer, which had been in the works with strong optimism over the past few days, briefly stalled due to market dynamics but is now back on track, with the Nigerian forward closing in on a switch to England.

Chukwueze joined Milan from Spanish outfit Villarreal in 2023 on a five-year contract after making a name for himself in La Liga, where he played a key role in Villarreal’s Europa League triumph in the 2020/21 season.

However, his time in Italy has been underwhelming. Despite making 69 appearances in all competitions for the Rossoneri, the 25-year-old has managed only eight goals, struggling to replicate the form that once made him one of Spain’s most exciting wingers.

Now, Fulham appear ready to hand the Nigerian international a fresh start in the Premier League.
