Popular On-Air Personality Oladotun Ojuolape Kayode, known as Do2dtun, has reacted to singer 2Baba’s public apology over his controversial statement that men aren’t built to be sexually committed to one woman.
The apology, directed at 2Baba’s wife Natasha Osawuru and their children, came after significant public backlash.
In a series of posts on X, Do2dtun expressed concern that 2Baba was pressured into making the retraction, suggesting someone was taking advantage of the singer’s current vulnerability.
“Please I don’t like this 2Face I’m seeing. Something is not right at all. He can express himself how he chooses to, but why always make him retract a video or make an apology always like a child? He is vulnerable, and someone is milking it. Whoever is holding that camera is wicked,” he wrote.
Do2dtun pointed out that 2Baba has historically avoided addressing scandals publicly, making this apology unusual. “Someone is forcing him to be who he is not. 2Face hardly addresses anything. Even in his worst of worst scandals, he never addresses anything like this. Something is wrong. He is regressing, and I hate it,” he added.
While acknowledging that the apology might have been necessary, Do2dtun argued that the person influencing 2Baba to make the video was acting in their own interest rather than for the singer’s brand. He further claimed that 2Baba needs professional help, stating, “He needs therapy.”
The media personality also defended 2Baba’s initial remarks, asserting that the singer was simply speaking his truth and that criticism over his comments was unfair.
