Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole, has urged the club to secure the permanent signing of Jadon Sancho from Manchester United this summer.
Sancho, currently on loan at Chelsea, has impressed during his temporary spell, prompting Cole to call on the Blues to make the move permanent.
The England international further showcased his talent by scoring in Chelsea’s commanding 4-1 victory over Real Betis in the Europa Conference League final on Wednesday night.
Sharing his thoughts on Sancho’s future, Cole told Metro UK, “I think Jadon [Sancho] is a really great player and I think he’s done well.
“Yes, I do [want Chelsea to sign him permanently].”
“This is a kid who went to [Borussia] Dortmund and was a superstar as a kid.”
Cole believes Sancho still has a lot to offer and could thrive at Stamford Bridge if given the opportunity.
