Parma have initiated discussions with Sky Bet Championship side Watford over a potential move for Nigerian midfielder Tom Dele-Bashiru.
The 25-year-old was a regular fixture for Watford last season under manager Michael Carrick, impressing with his performances in midfield.
The former Flying Eagles star made 27 league appearances for the Hornets during the campaign, scoring four goals.
Dele-Bashiru, who previously spent time at Reading, has just one year left on his current deal and is reportedly unwilling to sign a contract extension.
Watford are now open to selling the player for the right price, with reports suggesting a fee in the region of £8 million could seal the deal.
Dele-Bashiru initially joined Watford on a free transfer in July 2019 after parting ways with Premier League champions Manchester City.
Interestingly, his younger brother, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, currently plies his trade in Serie A as well, with Lazio.
