Manchester United’s new signing, goalkeeper, Senne Lammens, has said he is determined to make his mark at Old Trafford after penning a long-term deal with the Premier League club.

The 23-year-old Belgian shot-stopper has committed his future to United until June 2030, arriving with solid experience from Royal Antwerp, where he made 64 appearances and played a key role in their Belgian Super Cup triumph in 2023.

Lammens, who earned his first senior call-up to the Belgium national team in March, stood out last season by recording the highest number of clean sheets in the Belgian Pro League.

Expressing his delight after sealing the move, Lammens described the switch as a dream fulfilled, “I am extremely proud to be joining Manchester United; it is a real dream come true. The past few years have been an amazing journey, and now it feels like the beginning of something special. You can sense the positive atmosphere here, and I believe I can make a real impact at this club in the years ahead.”

He also revealed his eagerness to link up with manager Ruben Amorim and his new teammates, stressing that United offers the “perfect environment to develop and achieve career ambitions.”

United’s Director of Football, Jason Wilcox, praised the arrival of the young goalkeeper, noting, “Senne is an excellent talent with huge potential. We are delighted he has chosen United despite strong competition for his signature.”

Lammens’ arrival adds further depth to United’s goalkeeping options as the club continues its rebuild under Amorim.
