Super Eagles star, Ademola Lookman, has earned a nomination for Atalanta’s Goal of the Season award, thanks to two standout strikes from an impressive campaign.

The 27-year-old winger is in the running for the accolade following his memorable goals in Atalanta’s thrilling 3-2 loss to Real Madrid and their emphatic 5-0 demolition of Empoli.

Lookman lit up the encounter against Real Madrid with a stunning effort that beat Thibaut Courtois for Atalanta’s second goal of the night.

His second nominated strike came in Serie A action versus Empoli, where the former Leicester City player latched onto a sublime pass from Mateo Retegui, and dribbled past the goalkeeper before slotting the ball into an empty net.
