Super Eagles defender, Bright Osayi-Samuel, is reportedly on the verge of embarking on a new chapter in his career, having reached an agreement to join Turkish Super Lig heavyweights Besiktas.
Osayi-Samuel has opted to part ways with Fenerbahce after contract renewal talks broke down, paving the way for a move to their fierce rivals.
According to Turkish outlet Sozcu.com, Besiktas have agreed to meet the defender’s salary request of €2.5 million.
The 27-year-old is expected to undergo his medical examination before the week wraps up.
Osayi-Samuel made the switch to Fenerbahce from English Championship side Queens Park Rangers.
He went on to feature in 120 league matches for the Yellow Canaries, netting six goals.
Prior to his decision, the full-back had also attracted interest from Premier League side Crystal Palace.
