Saudi announces end of hajj 2025

The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Prince Saud bin Mishaal, has officially declared the successful and incident-free completion of the Hajj 1446 pilgrimage, highlighting the absence of any major security, health, or service-related issues.

According to Prince Mishaal, more than 1.6 million pilgrims participated in this year’s sacred journey, with 1,506,576 arriving from outside Saudi Arabia.

He further disclosed that 166,654 domestic pilgrims, including Saudi nationals and residents, joined the rites.

“Total pilgrims 1,673,230, including 877,841 male pilgrims and 795,389 female pilgrims,” Mishaal stated.

He offered his heartfelt congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for their efforts in ensuring the safety and tranquility of the pilgrims.

Mishaal commended the discipline and cooperation of the pilgrims, emphasizing that their adherence to regulations significantly contributed to the overall success of the pilgrimage.

He added, “The pilgrims performed their rites in safety and peace, thanks to the distinguished execution of operational plans by the Kingdom’s leadership.

“The Hajj season was free of any major security, health, or service-related incidents.”

Prince Mishaal also revealed that planning for the next Hajj season would commence immediately, stressing the Kingdom’s ongoing dedication to serving the holy sites and welcoming pilgrims from around the world.

He again extended his appreciation to King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, recognizing their pivotal roles in maintaining the peace and well-being of all pilgrims.
