Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, told world leaders at the G20 Bali summit that Russia’s war must end now and outlined possible solutions.
He also pleaded for an extension of a significant grain export deal due to expire soon.
BBC reported that Zelensky appeared in a video speech beamed to leaders gathered on the Indonesian island.
Russia’s president, Vladimir Putin, a member of G20 didn’t attend but sent his foreign minister Sergei Lavrov.
In his speech, Zelensky said: “I am convinced now is the time when the Russian destructive war must and can be stopped.”
