Ronaldo would admire Man Utd’s big changes – Dalot

Manchester United defender, Diogo Dalot, believes Cristiano Ronaldo would be impressed with the sweeping changes currently taking place at Old Trafford.

Dalot’s comments come in response to the Al Nassr forward’s explosive 2022 interview, where the 40-year-old criticised United for stagnating since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.

According to Dalot, his Portugal captain would particularly admire the club’s newly upgraded first-team complex at their Carrington training base, a facility transformed under the guidance of new co-owners Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS.

“I’m sure he [Cristiano Ronaldo] would love it if he could see it,” Dalot told Sportskeeda, noting that the message Ronaldo sent back then was well understood by the club’s leadership.

The renovations form part of a staggering £236 million investment made by INEOS ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, signalling a bold new era for the Red Devils.
