Ronaldo retains Saudi Pro League Golden Boot title

Prolific Al Nassr forward, has secured the Golden Boot in the Saudi Pro League for the second season in a row.

The 40-year-old Portuguese found the back of the net once more in their season finale, which ended in a narrow 3-2 loss to Al Fateh.

That strike brought his league tally to an impressive 35 goals for the 2023-24 season, placing him at the top of the scoring chart.

Overall, Ronaldo recorded 35 goals across all competitions this campaign.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner ended the league season two goals ahead of Al Ahli’s Ivan Toney, who scored 23 in what was his first season in the Saudi top flight.

Former Real Madrid teammate Karim Benzema also made his mark, scoring 21 goals for champions Al-Ittihad.

He shared that figure with Al Shabab’s Abderrazak Hamdallah, who also hit 21 goals during the campaign.
