A 43-year-old woman identified simply as Gift has been taken into custody by officers of the Nkpolu Police Division in Diobu, Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Rivers State, following a shocking incident in which she bit off the tip of her lover’s penis.
The bizarre incident occurred on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Bishop Okoye Street in Mile 3 Diobu, sending shockwaves through the community.
According to reports, the confrontation began when the man involved, one Mr. Sunday, requested sex from Gift.
She allegedly declined, accusing Sunday of relying on sexual enhancement drugs that cause prolonged intercourse, which she found uncomfortable.
An anonymous source revealed that an argument escalated, and Sunday allegedly assaulted Gift in response to her refusal. In the heat of the altercation, she reportedly retaliated by grabbing his manhood and biting off the cap with her teeth.
The man’s loud scream drew the attention of neighbors, who rushed to the scene. It was also reported that the swift intervention of the Divisional Police Officer of Nkpolu Division and his team prevented a mob from attacking Gift in retaliation.
Sunday was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical care, though the facility’s name has not been disclosed.
Confirming the incident to journalists, Rivers State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Superintendent of Police Grace Iringe-Koko, stated, “Yes, I can confirm the incident. The woman (suspect) aged 43 years has been arrested. Investigation is ongoing.”
