Real Madrid player Raul Asencio is currently facing a difficult period after being officially charged by a Spanish court in connection with a reported child sex abuse case.

The alleged incident, which reportedly took place in 2023 and was brought to the attention of authorities in August, involves three other former Real Madrid academy players who are no longer with the club.

Asencio, along with Ferran Ruiz, Andres Martin, and Juan Rodriguez, stands accused of recording and distributing explicit videos involving two women without their consent, one of whom was reportedly a minor.

According to Marca, a court in Gran Canaria has formally indicted center-back Raul Asencio, together with Andres Garcia, Ferran Ruiz, and Juan Rodriguez, for their alleged roles in filming private sexual content without permission.

The charges include the clandestine recording of intimate content, distributing such videos without the knowledge or approval of the victims, involving an underage individual in pornographic acts, and possession of child pornography.
