Operatives attached to the CP-Special Assignment Team have successfully recovered a Lexus 330 Jeep reportedly stolen during a violent robbery attack in Ebrumede, located in the Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
The development was confirmed in a statement issued by the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, in Warri.
According to SP Edafe, the recovery took place on June 30, 2025.
“Sequel to the complaint received, it was gathered that the suspects, armed with dangerous weapons, invaded a residence in the early hours of the day, carting away expensive jewelry, mobile phones, and a Lexus 330 Jeep with registration number: RBC 656 CN,” he stated.
He further revealed, “Following swift investigation and deployment of intelligence assets, the stolen vehicle was recovered around 0635hrs at UTI Road, off DSC Expressway, Ebrumede.”
The police spokesperson assured that efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest the other members of the gang who are currently on the run.
