The presidential candidate of the African Action Congress in the 2023 presidential election, Omoyele Sowore,on Saturday joined others, to participate in the maiden Abuja International Marathon.
The marathon was won by Kenya’s Emmanuel Naibet and Bahrain’s runner, Ruth Jebet, who won the men’s and women’s categories of the race, respectively.
However, this is the second time, Naibet will be winning a competition in Nigeria.
Naibet, who won this year’s race with a time of 2:13: 45, was the one, who won the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon, in 2021.
