Adamawa State Governor, Ahmodu Umaru Fintiri on Wednesday, flagged off a tree planting campaign at Jabbi-Lamba, Girei Local Government Area of the State.

 

Governor Fintiri disclosed this in a post on his X handle on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

 

According to him, the gazetted forest spanned through 1,500 hectares of land, across the state.

 

Stating this, Governor Fintiri urged the people in the state, to join hands with the government, to create a greener and more sustainable future for the community.

 

“Today, I had the honour of flagging off the tree-planting campaign at Jabbi-Lamba, Girei LGA, spanning 1500 hectares of gazetted forest across the state.

 

“Let’s work together to create a greener and more sustainable future for our community!” he wrote.
