The 2023 Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has been praised by Ezeh Emmanuel Eze, the party’s candidate for Abakaliki/Izzi Federal Constituency, following the party’s recent success in the UK election.

Eze hailed Obi as the leader of the black race, citing his influence across Africa and the world.

Speaking at a statewide stakeholders’ briefing in Abakaliki, Eze commended Obi’s leadership, saying his influence extends beyond Nigeria.

He referenced Obi’s call for the UK electorate to vote for the Labour Party, resulting in a landslide victory, according to NaijaNews.

Eze expressed pride in having Obi as a leader, capable of guiding Nigeria to a prosperous future.

He also commended party members in Ebonyi State for their commitment to resolving leadership issues at the national level. The state chapter remains united, working towards a new Nigeria by 2027.

This endorsement highlights Obi’s growing reputation as a leader with international influence and his potential to unite Nigerians across ethnic and geographical lines.

“I’m proud to have a leader. In the UK election, we heard what happened. Peter Obi made a statement and told the people to vote for the Labour Party and the entire election went in one direction.

“We have a man who I can describe as a leader of the black race, not just Nigeria,” Eze declared.
