Former Kaduna lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has criticized lawmakers from the Peoples Democratic Party and the Labour Party for their lack of activity in the National Assembly.

Sani, who previously represented Kaduna State, expressed his disappointment with the opposition lawmakers, suggesting that they are not meeting the expectations of the public.

In a post on his X handle on Saturday, Sani pointed out that only the ruling party, All Progressives Congress lawmakers were making their presence felt in the National Assembly.

He emphasized his point by stating: “Ruling party lawmakers are visible in the National Assembly. Opposition lawmakers are invisible in the National Assembly”.

Sani’s comments highlight concerns about the effectiveness and visibility of the opposition parties in Nigeria’s legislative processes. This critique comes amid ongoing political dynamics and challenges within the country’s legislative body.
