PDP flags off Imo governorship campaign Wednesday

The main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, has announced the flag off, of his 2023 governorship election campaigns in Imo State.

 

The PDP National Gubernatorial Campaign Council in a post via the official X handle of the party on Tuesday, October 17, 2023, noted that the flag, of the party’s governorship campaign in Imo State, will kick-start on Thursday, October 18, 2023.

 

According to the PDP Campaign Council, the event will held at the Kanu Nwankwo Sports Centre, Owerri, the Imo State capital.

 

However, the party urged the general public to join the PDP official social media channels @OfficialPDPNig, for updates and Live Streaming of the event.

 

The governorship candidate of the PDP in Imo State, Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu will be contesting with the current governor of the state, Hope Uzodinma, who is seeking re-election for another 4 years tenor on the platform of all Progressives Congress, and the likes of Senator Athan Achonu of the Labour Party, among other candidates from different political parties, in the forthcoming November 11 governorship election in the state.
