The Labour Party has mocked Olajide Adeniran, popularly known as Jandor, over his recent defection from the Peoples Democratic Party, firmly stating that the party’s door is closed to him.
Jandor, the former Lagos State governorship candidate for the PDP, accused Chief Bode George, a member of the PDP’s Board of Trustees, of undermining the party in Lagos State.
In an interview on News Central Wednesday, Jandor revealed that he was in talks with the Labour Party and other political parties about his future political plans.
However, the LP’s National Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Arabambi, quickly dismissed any possibility of Jandor joining the party.
Arabambi mocked Jandor’s defection, recalling accusations made by Chief Bode George when Jandor joined the PDP, suggesting that he was a mole sent to destroy the party.
Arabambi said, “Our door is very close to Jandor. We should not think about the Labour Party because we are aware of his death move from APC to PDP, which Baba Bode George actually accused him as a mole who came in with a bid to come and destroy PDP.”
He further emphasized that Jandor should not consider the Labour Party an option for his 2027 political ambitions. “For us, we will not take such a person in our party. He should not consider Labour Party as an option of a party he wants to run for in 2027. He can go to another party, but I am saying categorically that Labour Party option is closed.”
Arabambi concluded by asserting, “That is what I’m saying that Labour Party is not an option for Jandor. It’s not an option.”
