Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, is set to return to full training with Galatasaray on April 20.
This development could see the Nigerian striker available for the high-stakes Intercontinental Derby against title contenders Fenerbahçe on Sunday, April 26, Aksam Newspaper reports.
Osimhen had suffered a forearm injury during Galatasaray’s UEFA Champions League clash with Liverpool last month and is currently recovering after surgery.
The Yellow and Reds are relying on the 27-year-old to help secure a domestic double for a second consecutive season.
In Osimhen’s absence, Okan Buruk’s side fell 2-1 to Trabzonspor at Papara Park last weekend.
So far this season, the powerful striker has tallied 19 goals and provided seven assists in 29 league appearances for Galatasaray.
