Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has once again made headlines after reportedly rejecting a fifth lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, reaffirming his commitment to continuing his football journey in Europe.

Renowned journalist Buchi Laba shared the update via his X account, stating that the Napoli striker has firmly shut down the idea of a move to the Middle East, despite the financial appeal.

“Victor Osimhen officially rejects Al Hilal 5th offer,” Laba posted. “He has decided to not move there no matter the money offered. Case closed.”

Osimhen has been at the center of intense transfer speculation in recent months, yet he appears to be in no hurry to rush into a new commitment.

According to sources close to the Nigerian international, his main focus remains on staying in Europe, where he believes the competition better suits his ambitions.

“Main priority is to stay back in Europe,” Laba added, further revealing that “a top Italian club [is] very interested and other European clubs” are monitoring the player’s situation.

The 26-year-old Napoli talisman, who played a vital role in their 2022/23 Serie A triumph, also contributed significantly to Galatasaray’s domestic double during a loan spell in Turkey last season.

While several Premier League and Serie A clubs are reportedly keeping tabs, Osimhen is taking a thoughtful approach, carefully assessing the most promising sporting project before making his next move.
