Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has officially begun training with Galatasaray following his high-profile switch to the Turkish Super Lig giants.
The Nigeria international was unveiled earlier this week after completing a stunning €75 million transfer from Serie A champions Napoli, a record-breaking deal for the club.
Osimhen, who spent the previous season on loan at the Istanbul-based side, impressed with a remarkable 37 goals and eight assists, cementing his place as a fan favorite.
Despite receiving several lucrative offers from Saudi outfit Al-Hilal, Osimhen opted to commit his future to Okan Buruk’s team, signaling his desire to compete at the highest level in Europe.
Galatasaray secured the domestic double last season, with the 26-year-old playing a vital role in their campaign.
The Yellow and Reds will face Italian side Lazio in a pre-season friendly at the RAMS Park on Saturday (today), where Osimhen will be presented to the home fans alongside fellow new arrival Leroy Sane.
