Super Eagles forward, Victor Osimhen, has touched down in Nigeria as uncertainty continues to swirl around his next career move.
The 26-year-old striker, who spent last season on loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray, is due to return to his parent club Napoli.
However, signs increasingly point to a permanent departure from the Serie A side this summer.
Among the top contenders for his signature is Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal, who have already seen multiple bids rejected in their pursuit of the Nigerian international.
Providing an update on the situation, renowned football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano shared via X, “Victor Osimhen arrives in Nigeria today from Istanbul as he will inform clubs on his decision soon.
“Al Hilal are prepared to seal the deal with medical tests booked to bring him to the FIFA Club World Cup… waiting for his final decision by tomorrow.”
