Victor Osimhen has agreed personal terms with Galatasaray, although the Turkish giants have yet to finalise an agreement with his parent club, Napoli.

According to Monday’s reports, Osimhen has settled on the details of a three-year contract with Galatasaray, which includes an option for an additional 12 months. The update was revealed by Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu.

Osimhen, who enjoyed a remarkable loan spell with Galatasaray during the 2024-25 season—scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists in 41 appearances—is now expected to be sold by Napoli this summer.

The Nigeria international has a €75 million release clause in his contract, which applies to clubs outside of Italy’s Serie A during this transfer window.

Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal had previously indicated readiness to trigger the €75 million clause, but Osimhen ultimately chose not to pursue the move to Saudi Arabia.

Galatasaray have now stepped up their efforts to secure the 26-year-old on a permanent deal following his standout performances in Istanbul.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Galatasaray have submitted an opening offer to Napoli. The proposal is believed to include an initial payment of €50 million plus potential bonuses of up to €5 million.

However, this initial bid is not expected to meet Napoli’s valuation, as the Italian club remain keen to receive a figure closer to the €75 million stipulated in Osimhen’s release clause.
