Nomy disqualified from BBNaija season 11

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu, has been disqualified from the reality show following repeated violations of Big Brother’s instructions.

The disqualification was announced on Monday after Nomy reportedly failed several times to comply with directives connected to a punishment she received after a Head of House challenge.

In a statement shared on the official Big Brother Naija Instagram page, the organisers said Nomy had lost her right to remain in the “Show Ya Sef” house.

“Nomy (@_officialnomy) has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions,” the statement read.

According to the organisers, she was given 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house after Big Brother revoked her participation in the competition.

The latest sanction followed an earlier strike and final warning issued to Nomy over repeated disregard for instructions.

She had previously been punished for failing to adhere to a “benchwarmer” outfit directive after participating in a Head of House challenge. Big Brother had subsequently warned that another violation could attract severe consequences.

Nomy’s exit brings her BBNaija journey to an abrupt end and reduces the number of contestants competing for the season’s grand prize.

The 26-year-old fashion entrepreneur, whose full name is Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, is the founder of Ambition by Witme.

Since joining the BBNaija Season 11 house in July, Nomy had attracted attention for her outspoken nature, confidence and distinctive fashion style.

Her time on the show was, however, also characterised by repeated confrontations with Big Brother over compliance with house rules.

Following her disqualification, Nomy is no longer eligible to participate in the competition or contend for the season’s ultimate prize.
