The National Identity Management Commission has announced the completion of migration for all telecommunications operators in Nigeria to its enhanced National Identification Number verification platform, NINAuth.

This significant achievement marks a major step forward in strengthening the security, efficiency and accessibility of digital identity verification services across the nation.

The newly upgraded NINAuth platform, developed and deployed by NIMC, provides seamless and secure verification processes while giving Nigerians greater control over their personal data. With this migration now complete, all telecom operators can deliver uninterrupted NIN verification services to their subscribers.

The enhanced system ensures smoother access to critical telecom services including new SIM registration, SIM swaps, SIM migration and “Welcome Back” procedures.

NIMC’s Director of IT/IDD, Engr. Lanre Yusuf, confirmed the successful integration of all telecom operators into the NINAuth platform, noting that verification services are now operating smoothly nationwide.

“NIMC wishes to assure the general public that its verification and authentication platforms are fully operational and accessible,” the Commission stated. “NIN holders experiencing any difficulties related to SIM services are advised to contact their respective telecom service providers for immediate assistance.”

The Commission reaffirmed its commitment to providing secure, user-friendly and efficient digital identity services to all Nigerians through this upgraded platform.
