Nigerian striker, Aliyu Ibrahim, has officially joined Major League Soccer side Columbus Crew.

The talented forward made the move in a cash-for-player deal with Houston Dynamo FC, where the Crew paid $450,000 for his services.

This amount could increase to $750,000, depending on performance-based incentives.

Additionally, Dynamo will retain a sell-on percentage if Ibrahim is transferred in the future.

Ibrahim has signed a one-year deal with an option for two more years.

“Aliyu is a young and dynamic player whose experience in MLS and the international level adds valuable depth and gives us another quality attacking option,” Crew General Manager Issa said in a statement on the club’s official website.

“We are excited to welcome Aliyu to Columbus and look forward to integrating him into our squad.”
