Super Eagles striker, Victor Boniface, is now on the radar of Italian giants AC Milan, with discussions already underway.
The Nigerian international is widely expected to depart Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen this summer after enduring a challenging, injury-hit 2024/25 campaign.
Despite the setbacks, the 24-year-old managed to score 11 goals in 27 matches across all competitions for Xabi Alonso’s side.
Notably, Boniface also found the back of the net against Milan in the UEFA Champions League.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, “the Rossoneri have other targets, but believed they could get him for an affordable fee.”
Earlier in January, Boniface came close to a move to Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Nassr, though the deal didn’t materialize.
Boniface initially joined Bayer Leverkusen in 2023 from Belgian club Union Saint-Gilloise and currently has three years remaining on his contract with the German side.
