MC Oluomo petitions police over alleged pregnant woman’s murder

The President of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, has urged the police to carry out a discreet probe into a murder allegation made against him by one Siyan Akinsanya.

In a viral Facebook video, Siyan Akinsanya alleged that he witnessed MC Oluomo kill a pregnant woman and bury her along with her unborn child in the Oshodi area of Lagos.

The transport union leader has strongly denied the claim, describing it as a calculated attempt by his detractors to incite public outrage against him.

Seeking an official investigation into what he described as damaging defamation, MC Oluomo, through his lawyer, Felix Abraham, submitted a petition to the Deputy Inspector-General of Police in charge of the Federal Intelligence Department.

The petition, dated March 30, 2026, is titled: “Criminal Intimidation, Assassination of Character, Threatening Violence, Giving Public/Police False Information, Membership of Unlawful Gang, and Inciting Public Peace.”

In the document, his counsel portrayed him as a law-abiding citizen, youth leader, and head of the NURTW, stressing that he has recently been targeted by individuals allegedly loyal to his rivals, who have been spreading falsehoods to damage his reputation.

Part of the petition read, “The above person went on social media (Facebook) to broadcast in a life video that our client committed an act of homicide – that he witnessed him burying a pregnant woman and the unborn baby, using them for rituals. He also vowed to take Police to the cite of burial at Oshodi in Lagos State.”

MC Oluomo is therefore calling on the police to thoroughly investigate the allegation by inviting Siyan Akinsanya to lead officers to the alleged burial site in Oshodi and exhume the bodies.
