Real Madrid star, Kylian Mbappe, has thrown his weight behind compatriot Paul Pogba, who is gearing up for a return to competitive football after securing a new deal.

Pogba, once banned from the sport for doping violations, saw his initial four-year suspension slashed to 18 months, making him eligible to play again from March this year.

Now, the 32-year-old 2018 World Cup winner is set to join Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on a two-year deal that will run until June 2027.

He is expected to complete his medical in the coming days, as the final terms of the contract are being finalized this week.

Taking to Instagram, France captain Mbappe celebrated Pogba’s imminent comeback with a message on his story, “Pogback. Daghe Munegu.”
(“Daghe Munegu” translates to “Let’s go, Monaco” in English.)

The former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder will be aiming to impress at Monaco next season as he works toward a potential return to the French national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
