Manchester United striker, Rasmus Hojlund, has completed a season-long loan move to Serie A champions Napoli, pending international clearance and registration.
The Denmark international joins Antonio Conte’s side looking to gain more experience in one of Europe’s most competitive leagues.
The Red Devils confirmed the deal on their official website on Monday, expressing gratitude to Hojlund for his contributions during his time at Old Trafford.
The club highlighted his professionalism and impact both on and off the pitch.
Hojlund made a total of 95 appearances for Manchester United since his arrival from Atalanta in August 2023, scoring 26 goals across all competitions.
His goal-scoring prowess quickly earned him recognition among fans and pundits alike, establishing him as a key attacking option for the club.
The Denmark international also celebrated silverware with Manchester United, lifting the FA Cup at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season.
He played a part in the final against Manchester City, coming off the bench to help secure the historic win.
Before joining Napoli, Hojlund had already enjoyed a varied career across Europe. He began at Copenhagen, then moved to Sturm Graz, followed by a stint at Atalanta, and finally Manchester United, making Napoli the fifth club of his professional journey.
Under the guidance of Antonio Conte, Napoli will hope Hojlund can add firepower to their attacking line.
The club’s ambitions in both Serie A and European competitions could provide the ideal platform for the young striker to further develop his talents and make a lasting impression in Italian football.
