Manchester United player, Bruno Fernandes, has reached out to a fan identified as “@BlessedUtd”, through his official Twitter account.
The fan had started a daily trend of tagging the Portuguese midfielder, whom he described as his favorite player, asking him for a signed shirt.
“Day 300 of tweeting until I get Bruno Fernandes signed Shirt,Our Portuguese magnifico!!!! ???
@B_Fernandes8 is my favourite player & I think it would be unreal to have his signed shirt ??, so let’s give this a go!??”, he tweeted.
The daily trend which had entered the 300th day was spotted by Fernandez, who reached out to him, while also promising to have a signed shirt sent to him.
“I saw you tweet around 280 days and said to myself that if he reach 300 days then I will send him a shirt! Thanks for the support. Email in my bio and I send you a shirt,” Fernandes replied.
Prior to this, the Global Head Of Social Media for Manchester United, Nick Speakman, had contacted @BlessedUtd, acknowledging his request while also promising to notify Fernandes.
He shared a screenshot of the conversation on Twitter which reads, “Pleasure my friend – you have created a blueprint for many fans around the world… but remember you were first! I wi speak with Bruno tomorrow (+ his team) to make sure he has all the right details.
“That post of you with his shirt will break the internet I’m sure”.
